It's been a hectic week to say the least.

When you have to deal with the livelihood of 500 people under your pen.

When a small team of people turn to you in desperation.

When you need to be at 3 places at one time.

When you need to have 56 hours in one day.

When suddenly someone gives up on you.

Aerin

Meet my new arm candy - Aerin II in Formula Red. Yes, the race car formula one RED RED.
I'm matching my outfits to her these days, haha!
I just can't wait for the black one to arrive.

Candid shots

Just to share one one of Trooper's magic moment shots.
He is really photogenic under lighting.

God is fair. The naughty one looks photogenic in artificial light.
Bruno looks good in natural light.

And Murray looks good only in the flesh.
Hahaha!!

Truffs

Pleasure comes in small parcels.

Of these delightful truffles, hand made with love.

Each type of cocoa carries with it its signature taste.
66% antilles was sweet and nutty in fragrance.
70% honduras was slightly more sharp and acidic than I thought.
I now know them like my new found friends.

Pure unadulterated smooth dark chocolate truffles. No fillings, just the way I like them.
The pure cocoa taste, and no distractions in between.
No preservatives, just pure pleasure.
Smooth and indulgent.

Truffs 197a Telok Ayer Street

Each morsel of pure pleasure. Oooohhh, I love love love.
Each of these humble looking truffles, taste so devine. So so so... ooh.
I can't even begin to describe.

At home I carefully unwrapped the packaging, carefully chose 2 humble looking truffles and placed them in a glass dish. To let them breathe, rest and soften slightly.

They taste so different when just taken from the fridge, and when softened slightly. The aroma, the texture, the aftertaste. All taste better, somehow, just at the right moment.

Fresh from the fridge, the casing cracks from the cold. Honduras was sharp and acidic.
10 min later, the casing and the filling blended well on bite, the flavours more rounded and harmonised. Perfect, but don't wait too long else it melts into a gooey mess.

Best enjoyed at the right moment, don't rush into them. Just like women (!). Don't wait too long to enjoy either, they just turn messy and sticky. Bwah haha!!

Have a visit to the store where the chocolate artisans will sit you down and explain in detail the various types of cocoa and their characteristics. I never knew buying chocolates could be as pleasurable as eating them.

They also offer chocolate cakes, made to order. I cannot wait to try.
And I know just the person who'd love to join me.
